I decided to set up Ifield Air Conditioning in 2004, after realising there was a need for a mobile car air conditioning service in the Crawley area. This came about mainly through the amount of requests I was receiving for a service of this kind.

Initially, I looked at few franchised operations, but decided against this option as I did not feel that they could offer me what I wanted to be able to offer my prospective clients. Eventually I found Bristol Car Air Conditioning Training School who provided me with all the information I needed to fullfill my idea.

In the August of 2004, I went to Bristol Car Air Conditioning Training School to learn the art of being an air conditioning technician. After having spent the week at the training school, I successfully passed the following examinations,

  • City & Guilds 6048 motor vehicle air conditioning  (service & repair)
  • Accredited Air Con Technician with the ATA for refrigerant handling
  • ATA Number AT02120919453

Other qualifications held,

  • City & Guilds 381 parts 1 & 2 motor vehicle craft studies
